How does pricing work?
Creopus offers four plans, priced in USD and charged in INR via a daily exchange rate locked at checkout.

The 25 tools: System Hierarchy, Engagement Intake, ConOps, SEMP, Requirements (ReqGen), Flowchart, Block Diagram, Interface Control Document (ICD), SWOT, Pugh Matrix, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, Risk Register, DVP, RCCA, CAPA, Stage-Gate Checklist, BOM Completion, Implementation Workspace, Procurement Workspace, Build Configuration, Gerber Analysis (PCB Quote), Parts Finder, Engineering Calculators.
What paid plans add: private artifacts (Free-plan artifacts are public and discoverable — this is the main reason to pay), a higher Agentic AI token allowance, more requirements cascades per day, and on Team/Enterprise more seats and higher per-tool daily limits. Free gets the same 25 tools and the same per-tool daily allowance as Professional.
Where Free-plan work lives. On the Free plan every artifact is created inside a system hierarchy — pick the node it belongs to (a subsystem, an assembly) and generate there. That is what makes it public and discoverable, which is the trade for the free allowance. Standalone artifacts, which sit outside any hierarchy and are private on every plan, need a paid plan. Existing standalone artifacts stay editable.
Requirements cascade generates requirements for every node of a system hierarchy in one run (up to the 200-node hierarchy cap, on every plan). Because one run can drive hundreds of generations, it is metered on its own daily counter — see the table above — rather than against your per-tool allowance. A cascade of 5 nodes and a cascade of 200 nodes both count as one.
Seats. Free is single-seat. Professional includes 2 seats and Team includes 5 — one subscription covers that many engineers from your company. The subscriber invites teammates by email from their account page and the seat is provisioned automatically; a seat can be revoked and reassigned at any time. Enterprise seat count is custom. Collaborators don't consume seats: review, comments, and viewer/editor access are ungated on every plan — an engineer on Professional can run a formal design review with a co-founder on the Free tier. A paid seat is only needed when a teammate wants their own generation limits, private artifacts, or Agentic AI.
Changes to your plan mid-period. Plan features, usage limits and pricing can change, but we do not reduce what you have already paid for: a reduction takes effect at your next renewal, with at least 30 days' notice. The narrow exceptions — where a reduction can take effect inside a period you have already paid for — are a legal or regulatory requirement, the withdrawal of a third-party service we depend on with no substitute available in time, a serious security or privacy risk, or a breach of the acceptable-use terms by that account. Cost is deliberately not one of them: if something costs us more than expected we change pricing at renewal instead. In the first three cases we extend your paid period, or credit a future one, in proportion to the reduction. If you would rather not continue at all, you can nominate one other Creopus account to receive that credit instead — once, in full, within 30 days, and it expires 12 months after issue. Enterprise is quoted per engagement — custom seat count, terms, volume pricing, and invoicing are scoped with our sales team.
Agentic AI is the autonomous reasoning loop that can chain platform tools to complete multi-step engineering tasks (e.g., "audit this requirement set against IEC 61508"). Daily caps are measured in combined input + output tokens and reset at UTC midnight. Every plan including Free has an agent allowance (see the table above); paid plans raise the cap substantially.
Remote MCP access (Professional, Team and Enterprise) lets you drive the platform's tools from any MCP-capable AI agent — Claude Code, Cursor, and others — by pointing it at https://mcp.creopus.ai/mcp with your Creopus API key as a bearer token. The agent can browse your system hierarchy and run the engineering tools directly from your editor, respecting your key's scopes and per-tool usage limits. (Local/stdio MCP, run on your own machine with your own key, is available on any plan.)
Renewal. Plans are paid up front and do not auto-renew today — you renew manually and access runs until the end of the paid period, then reverts to Free-plan limits. Opt-in monthly auto-renewal (UPI Autopay) is coming soon. There are no refunds for unused time. Switching plans takes effect immediately and starts a new billing period (no proration).
Annual billing gets a 20% discount, applied as monthly × 12 × 0.8 (e.g., Professional = $470/yr instead of $588).
Payment: Zoho Payments and Razorpay — accepting all major credit cards, UPI, Net Banking, and wallet payments.
Coupons: active promo codes are listed on the in-app pricing page after sign-in.
Student plan: student verification grants the Professional plan at no charge.
