BOM Completion
From a schematic or prompt to a costed, sourceable BOM.
What it's for
A master-detail parts table (Ref Des, MPN, Description, Qty; click a row for every field incl. unit/extended cost, lead time, lifecycle, RoHS/REACH). Three intelligence panels turn it into a sourcing surface: Source parts (live DigiKey match), Supply-chain risk (with a real BOM-cost roll-up), and Find Suppliers (multi-distributor offers via Nexar/Octopart).
When to use it
The bridge from design to manufacturing, once the architecture is set.
How it works
- Derive from a Block Diagram, generate from a prompt, or import a CSV. → The table fills with designators (U1, R1, C1…) and candidate parts; a row opens the detail panel for every field.
- Open “Source parts” and Find candidates against DigiKey. → Each part resolves to a live DigiKey status (Matched / No match / …) with candidate MPN, unit $, stock and datasheet; “Apply candidates” fills empty fields (flagged unverified).
- Open “Intelligence” and Analyze risk. → Summary cards show High/Medium/Low risk, EOL/NRND and single-source counts and the BOM cost = Σ extended cost; a per-part table flags long-lead / single-source / no-stock.
- Open “Find Suppliers” and get distributor offers. → Multi-distributor stock/price/MOQ with authorized-seller counts and second-source alternates; download stock details as CSV.
- Toggle Consolidated view and Export. → Consolidated rolls identical parts into a purchasing view (never dropping a refDes); the Export-view selector (EBOM/MBOM/PBOM/Costed/SBOM…) picks the column set; export PDF, stamped PDF, CSV, TXT or JSON.
