Engineering Calculators
Registry-driven engineering math, versioned against the node.

What it's for
A registry of engineering calculators. Each has an Inputs card and an Outputs card that shows each result as value + unit and the key = formula line (with validation warnings). Results save as versioned, node-linked Calculation artifacts, and the formula snapshot is frozen so a saved calc stays reproducible.
When to use it
Any time you need a defensible calculated value tied to the design.
How it works
- Pick a calculator from the registry (or Draft a new one). → The picker lists registry calculators by tier; drafting opens the draft-calculator modal and a curator review pipeline.
- Enter inputs and Run. → Outputs compute deterministically and show value + unit and the exact key = formula; error-level validations block saving.
- Save the result to the hierarchy node (or Update for a new revision). → The result is versioned against the node with its frozen formula snapshot, so it stays reproducible even if the live registry changes.
Mechanics
- Registry-driven deterministic formulas (not LLM at run time)
- Formula transparency (shows key = formula per output) + validation
- Versioned, node-linked results · frozen registry snapshot
- Community draft + curator-review pipeline
