Gerber Analysis
Analyze a board’s Gerbers into a fabrication spec and an indicative estimate.

What it's for
Drop in a Gerber/PCB zip and AI extracts the full fabrication spec — base material, layers, board & dimensions, copper stackup, surface finish, drilling and special techniques — then produces an Indicative Estimate: a cost band with confidence, a Manufacturability score out of 100 with flagged issues, and a Basis grid. You can draft an RFQ to a supplier from it.
When to use it
When a board is ready to analyze, cost, or send out for quotes.
How it works
- Upload a Gerber/PCB zip and click Analyze, or fill the spec by hand. → AI maps the Gerbers into the flat spec — base material, layers, board & dimensions, copper stackup, drilling — where each field is an option box, number, or multi-select.
- Review the Indicative Estimate. → A cost band (low–typical–high, ~$/board, NRE, cost drivers) plus a Manufacturability score /100 with severity-flagged issues and a Basis grid — labeled “indicative, not a fab quote”.
- Save, then Request for Quote / Draft RFQ to a supplier. → Saves the analysis (with revisions and an RFQ number); the RFQ modal drafts a supplier request and the summary modal submits it.
Mechanics
- Gerber-drop → AI extracts the whole fabrication spec
- Deep fab-spec vocabulary (vias, impedance control, finishes, techniques)
- Indicative cost band + Manufacturability score /100 + Basis grid
- RFQ drafting to suppliers · past analyses · revisions
